Wow, I loved this part of the series. I finished Avaline and then went straight to Tiana. This was better than Avaline, but not by much. Well written, great story. Lizzy Fords writing carries me to the place with the characters she is writing about. I really love this series and I cannot wait for books 3 and 4 in the saga.Product details

Wow this series just keeps getting better and better! A lot of questions I had after reading the first book are slowly starting to get answered and I am sure will slowly get revealed throughout the rest of the series. I still have a lot of questions about Arthur, Black Wolf (skin walker), and how these rest of this series will go.
I have loved Aveline from the beginning. She is strong but shows enough weakness that she doesn't seem completely cold hearted. Tiana is starting to find out more about herself and her abilities (deformities).
Can not wait for Arthur, the next book in the series to answer even more of my questions.
I can only apologize for how long it has taken me to finish this book. Another great read by Lizzy. This part of the story explained a little of what was going in though I though I knew and I was wrong about some it. I am super excited to see what happens next.
I love the characters, there is a mixture of strong, weak, and crazy. The story also is very interesting and when I heard the name of the series I wasn't quite sure I would like it but I am very glad I was wrong. It keeps you drawn in to find out what is happening to Tiana and Avi and all the others.
I look forward to the next one. I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
So the last book left me wondering what was going to happen to Tiana and Aveline after the ending went down the way it did. There is plenty of magic and mystery in this one to keep you guessing and I got to learn so much more about the characters, they made me like them even more. I could definitely see this series turning into a movie for sure and would definitely be the first one in line to see it. I'm still unsure the motives of some of the characters we cross paths with but I figure all will be known soon. This also made me think of the saying the enemy of my enemy is my friend. As I could definitely see some of that going on here. I can't wait to read more of this series and will probably keep wondering what will happen in the next book until I read it lol.
Picks up where Aveline leaves off and I have to admit, I liked this one better. A little slow, but does a good job in setting the stage for what is to come while giving more background into the characters.
The story is told from Aveline, Tiana, and Arthur's perspective. Each of them will learn new things that impact some of their choices and help them to realize that not everything they believed in can be taken at face value and that a lot of what they thought they knew, is questionable. There are still a lot of questions that need answering and who to trust is still limited to a very small handful. I for one was happy to see that Tiana was not as weak or helpless as everyone thought her to be, but fear that when all is said and done, she won't be as innocent and pure as she was at the beginning of this book.
This is the second book in the Lost Vegas series. I order to get a full grasp on what is happening you need to read Aveline book one in this series.
In this book Tiana is the main character. She has been locked away from everyone and everything all her life because of her "deformity". She has the ability to see the future. She sees her brother captured by enemy Natives and she sets out to find him even though she has only been outside of her room for short amounts of time.
Arthur is her brother who was captured. He is the heir to leading Lost Vegas. Right now Lost Vegas is lead by his and Tiana's Dad. Their Dad is a mad man who likes to burn people alive who he sees as a threat to his family.
Aveline is Tiana's protector. Aveline is finding gout secrets about her family. Many lies have been told to her. She needs to sort them out as well as find Tiana. If she doesn't she is sure Tiana's Dad will burn her.
Black Wolf is a skin walker. He is able to shift into a bear. He has a wolf as his guide. We don't know much about him yet but we will.
I love this series. Skinwalkers, people who have magic abilities, and ghouls. Who could ask for more? Cannot wait for the next book in this series.
Liked it, just real short.
I love everything and want more... Lizzy Ford captures the spirit of telling a story with a style and passion that is surprising and entertaining.
